A couple in my church has been married for 60 years, and we are making a cake. We want to frost it tonight, but are not serving it until Sunday. Does anyone know of a homemade frosting that will stand up and be stiff for two days? Is there a store-bought brand that would be best? I am going to use my wedding cake topper, so I am hoping to put frosting flowers around it.

Someone else is baking the cake because we couldn't get a large round one in time for the luncheon. They have square ones, but we didn't know if that would look too non-specific and not wedding-y enough. Does anyone have any ideas?

Betty Crocker makes very good frosting. Put a candle in each corner and your topper on it. Cover it with saran wrap and it will hold up for 2 days.
