Most people like this warm with a bit of ice cream or whipped cream - - I prefer it COLD - - (from the fridge cold...) - - you can serve it however you like...

2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks softened butter or margarine
1 cup chopped wlanuts
1 cup chocolate chips
1 9 inch uncooked pie shell (bought or made)

Preheat oven to 325. Beat eggs athigh speed until foamy (approx 3 minutes). Beat in the flour, sugar and brown sugar. Blend in softened butter. Stir in walnuts & chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell.

Bake at 325 for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge & center comes out clean and the top is golden brown. Cool before serving...

I often top it off with coconut just before putting it in the oven....

To reheat pie - - microwave for just about 20 - 30 seconds or serve COLD (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm)
