12-26-03, 03:52 PM kittypal OOOH, second egg nog question!!!! I love the cake ideas, but have so many treats around right now, how long will my opened egg nog last?
12-26-03, 04:19 PM Patricia I found some light egg nog 2 G. of fat per cup serving and it was actually not bad.
I freeze milk when it is passed it's use by date. I thaw it and use it in my recipes as needed. I am thinking you can freeze egg nog and do the same.

Speaking of eggnog, has anyone ever tried to make their own? I have a recipe that I bookmarked in my favorite a couple of years ago and have yet to try it. Just curious if it is the same as the store bought stuff.
