Every year, I buy a quart of EggNog....
Every year, I throw out 3'4 of a quart of EggNog.

What could I use it for....
In a cake mix ? Should I leave out the eggs, or just use half what the cake mix calls for ??

I can't help but think that it would help make one very rich yellow cake ...

Any ideas ????

You can also use it in place of the egg mixture that you make to make French Toast. I bought some FAT FREE egg nog this year and it SUCKS!!! Smile

OOOH, second egg nog question!!!! I love the cake ideas, but have so many treats around right now, how long will my opened egg nog last?

I found some light egg nog 2 G. of fat per cup serving and it was actually not bad.

I freeze milk when it is passed it's use by date. I thaw it and use it in my recipes as needed. I am thinking you can freeze egg nog and do the same.

Speaking of eggnog, has anyone ever tried to make their own? I have a recipe that I bookmarked in my favorite a couple of years ago and have yet to try it. Just curious if it is the same as the store bought stuff.
