Does anyone know why the information fades out on a caller ID? I'm tired of buying new phones just because the ID has faded out. I always buy either AT&T or GE phones. Could it be the brand that's the problem or do all IDs fade? Help.

Do you have your phone exposed to direct sunlight or a heat source?

Strong light(and Heat) does fade the display!
But if this is happening in the shade then I'll agree with you and say they are they are poor value

Bedstor, it's not exposed to light and the only heat is from my monitor, and small TV, but I don't think they generate too much heat.

Maybe it's the quality of the phone, but I think AT&T is one of the best. I don't know about GE, because I used to work there.

You're not the only 1 The issue runs to almost everywhere!!!

Only person that may be able to do something about it is a Mobile Phone repair shop Ask them what is the best phone brand for reliable service as regards screen life
