We recently moved and we've gotten a few calls for a certain man - so I did a reverse phone number search on our new number and found that he used to have it. Twice now, when I've called friends in Oklahoma, they said that man's name was displayed on their caller ID. I called my phone company but their records have only our name on the number. Is there any way to get his name off our phone number?

I work for BellSouth which is a major phone company in the South. I can say that the only way his name is showing on caller ID is if it still appears somewhere in the phone records. Call your phone company back and ask them to pull up all records for your number and to check all data fields. There should be a field for "billing name" "contact name" "listed name" and "customer name" I don't remember which field the Caller ID data comes from but your phone company should be able to correct this by clearing all the fields and re-keying your name to all the fields.
