We have recently been given two aylesbury ducks (1 male/1female). I'de very much like to chat to anyone else that keeps ducks as pets please, Oh, we're in the UK.

Thanks for that. I knew about Ducks for Fun but not the other one. I'd googled but not come across it. We're now getting eggs daily but I don't fancy them.

In college one year, my roommate came back to school with two ducks for our dorm room. That was an interesting experience. They lived in a cardboard box in our living room. I don’t think they were particularly happy, but they certainly were loud and smelly! Ducks, unfortunately, are one of those types of pets that people often buy or give without considering how much work they are and what sorts of conditions they ought to live in to be best cared for. I’m glad that you’re looking for more information on the topic and seem interested in keeping them. They really can be very sweet.
