anyone have suggestions of GOOD styling products to use to spike hair?
mines about 2 inches long, very thick and very coarse.
ive tried pomades, hairspray and different gels, but the spikes start to fall apart after about 2 hours. i need stuff to last through thrashing at the bar. dont recomend tha stuff thats supposed to last 20 hours. it was a total wast of too much money.
thanx

I think two inches of spiked hair is a little much for any gel to handle. If you really want it spiked, cut it down a bit. My son and his friends always raided that LA Looks gel to spike their hair. It worked.

My brother used to have really long hair (down to his shoulders) and he decided to spike it one day. He used knox, which contains gelatine ( the stuff that makes jello jiggle) and it worked amazingly well. He had it straight and tall nearly the whole day. You can find it at the super market, probably around the spices and baking ingriedients. It may not be a hair product, but it does work!
