Hi Ralph. Welcome to AnswerPool. Coldfuse posted an excellent site. The bottom of the first page has tips for damaged hair. I have been reading that Wellastrate is very drying. There are two different strengths: normal and strong. I think you may have used the strong one and maybe left it on too long. Many others have the same problem as you. you are not alone. One man posted this: quote: I have tried wellastrate several times at every treatment I lost a hefty bunch of my hair. Thank God I stopped using it and am left with a little bit of bouncy curly hair. Stay away from brushes since they will just sort of separate and tear your hair more. Don't blow dry your hair either. That is very damaging. Washing your hair takes the natural oils out. Try washing your hair less often. (Maybe every couple days) Look around the store and find a shampoo and conditioner for damaged/dry hair. You may even want to try a leave in conditioner. I think you should give the company a call (their number should be on the box). Explain to them your situation and see what they suggest. Good luck to you.
