I asked a woman I work with this question for you as she has just stopped wearing a wig and her hair is growing in nicely. She said that her hair has grown in much like a babies...where the top and back grew in quicker than the sides closest to her face and the front/bangs. Her hair used to be very straight and thick...it has come in very curly and fine (like babies hair). She did say the bangs and the sides were the slowest growing... I don't know if this is typical or not, but it's the info she shared Hope you're doing well!!! Welcome to AnswerPool!!!

I'm glad your question was moved to this forum instead of where it was originally posted. I saw it yesterday and wanted to answer but only the moderator has access to the Information forum that you originally posted in. Anyway, to answer your question, it is normal. For some reason, hair loss (due to drug interaction) that occurs around the hairline takes longer to grow back that hair loss at the crown of the head. Or maybe it's just an illusion. There are less hair follicles at the hairline so because hair distribution is less in that area maybe it only appears that it is growing at a slower rate. But have patience.
