ok, poking around in the conditioner section at the drug store, i noticed thermasilk. its 'thing' is little blue beads that are supposed to help make your hair all silky and smooth when blow drying. from their web siteit said '"heat activated thermal beads provide extra conditioning when you blow dry." yet on the back of the little bottle, it says to rinse the product out.
how the heck do they work? dont they get rinsed out with the rest of the conditioner? and if they are not there, then how the heck do they do anything at all? is this just some lame money making scheme aimed at people who actually have a blowdryer (mine died months ago, havent gotten a new one. wouldnt use it anyhow).
I buy thermasilk all the time, but I have never noticed blue beads in it, so I don't know if this is a new product in their line or if they are just "microscopic" little beads.
I don't buy into the beads thing for exactly what you said.....if they get rinsed out, what is the point?
I do buy thermasilk occasionally and like the results I get. My hair does seem healthier and stronger.

This shampoo is the best I have used, and that includes against Pantene and Finesse. I have been using it for over two years, and the results are completely satisfying. As previously stated, there are no beads to be seen, but I do say the conditioner works wonders, especially if you use the Thermasilk shampoo previously. The hair smells great, and since mine is color treated it really is hard to find something that keeps my hair shiny and soft. I haven't tried not blow drying my hair since the length is long. It takes forever to dry but I believe the results would be the same. Give the combination of the shampoo and conditioner a try, they have it at General Dollar Stores (buy the Thermasilk brand, generic tends not to work as well) it's actually not that expensive at these kind of stores.
