I’m going to be going for a college interview next week. I was wondering if I should prepare anything before I go. If yes, what should I prepare? Thanks so much. -yafa
Yafa - that's awesome!! Know that they only bring in those applicants that they are interested in, so this is a good sign. Be prepared to answer questions like why you are interested in attending this particular college, what you know about them and why you think you would fit in and do well there. Visit their web-site and learn what you can about them.
In addition to knowing that they will ask you these types of questions, be prepared to ask some questions of your own so they know that you are doing your homework and interviewing colleges as much as they are you.
As for questions they may ask you..... Why are you interested in this particular university? What extracurricular activities do you participate in and would like to in college? How would others describe you? What do you plan to do after college graduation?
Try to ask as many questions as they ask you, prepare some beforehand... and make sure to send a thank you afterwards and talk about some of the points of your interview.
