Where can I find a list of schools (preferably in western NYS) that offer women's studies as a major?

You might try just putting Women's Studies into an internet search. I found a lot from that.

I also tried a search for 'search by major' and found a bunch of search engines. The ones I looked at list it as gender studies and has it with ethnic and culture studies. But if a school has ethnic studies, it'll probably have a women's studies marjor, too.

No, Pin~Jinx, “women’s studies” is the name of the program. I’m sure it could also be called “crazy baby-eating feminists are destroying society with their foolish dreams of equality.” Wink

Jusork and Clare, thanks! I’ve looked through some of that before but no one seems to offer correspondence or on-line courses, and I can’t really see myself getting motivated enough to go to class. I don't think I want to go to college again, I just want to learn stuff. Smile Fortunately, I’ve pretty much given up on the idea of furthering my education. If I do anything, I will probably end up using the MIT OpenCourseWare program, which I've discovered since my initial post, and does have Women's and Gender Studies. If nothing else, I'll at least read the required course material. Smile

Thank you all!
