What exactly is an Under Graduate? Does it mean that a person has reachesd a level, where they can graduate with a certain degree, or they could continue in the same field and get a higher degree?

An undergraduate is someone who is in college and has not yet graduated. This is used to distinguish them from a graduate student (such as myself) who has a bachelors degree already, but is working on a higher degree such as a Ph.D.
