I am a graduate of the college of 'hard knocks'.

Seriously, I often work 18-20 hour days (8-10 hour full time job, 8-10 working on web related projects, including AnswerPool.com) to ensure that AnswerPool.com, SoloSpirit.net and WordParade.com stay online. These sites are expensive, but I feel that by offering a database and platform for all of our great members, I am making a positive difference in the world.
We are all fortunate to have members who have made a positive difference by contributing to the sites 'upkeep' via mail-in and Amazon donations. They have been instrumental in keeping this site online while it is still in it's early development stages.
Every person who has posed a thought provoking question, or a profound answer on this site, also share this accolade. This is not even counting all of the genuine great friends that have been made here.
I am going to 'blow our horn' a little, now. This site is far better than AnswerPoint, if for no other reason, when I first went to AnswerPoint, I had to ignore people for weeks before I could enjoy the site, and there were still hundreds of crappy trash posts on the site.
We do not have to use an ignore feature, the moderators are 'ON IT!'
So when someone new comes here they see just what we are, a nice web community of folks who are trying to all make a positive difference.
We attract like minds. We are a phenomenal group of individuals and we will soon be heralded as a whole community of people who make a difference.
So if you have worked for a degree which has allowed you possess the knowledge needed to post an educated/experienced answer here, you have made a difference. Not the intent of the study, no doubt, but you have made these contributions anyway, so however you see yourself in this picture, you have all made a difference.
Flag this post for future reference.
