Ok...You know what I think? I think that there should be a place that I can post my pregnancy questions..>But I guess I will just scatter them all over..hehe...
I have a question...Since I became pregnant, my skin has been going haywire. My feet are all dry and rough now, and I have been told I have a skin disease, I cant remember what it is called though...It causes red itchy bloches on my skin...I dont remember what its called...
I really just dont know how to make my skin softer...Its driving me crazy.... ******************************************************** 11-08-03, 04:12 PM angela-cc It is kind of hard to tell you what you could try to do about that until we know what this disease is you have. See if you can remember it. If I knew it wouldn't harm whatever it is that you have going on, I would recommend a vaselineĀ® intensive care lotion for extremely dry skin. I am almost certain though if you ask your pharmacist what people with diabetes do for dry skin on their feet, whatever he or she would recommend would probably be safe enough for a pregnant girl.
11-08-03, 04:41 PM Katanya2000 Megan, I was supposed to send your mom some of of the herbal lotions I make for a spa treatment a month ago, but I couldn't because I got sick. I'm still going to do that, and when I do I'll thow in a lotion (plain, no scents or dyes) for you which will help with the dry patchs, and if applied to your tummy will help prevent stretch marks. It's made with all natural products, so it's safe to use even when pregnant. Smile
11-08-03, 05:41 PM Sherasi I also recommend "Eucerin Cream" (or lotion which is thinner in consistancy). This is expensive but it goes a LONG way and is VERY GOOD!! I recommend it to my patients all the time. It can be bought at Walmart.
11-08-03, 10:10 PM honilov I find that creams keeps my skin softer than lotions, so I kind of make my own cream. I take pure vaseline and mix it with lotion, then stir it to make a great cream.
11-09-03, 01:00 AM megan_09 Thank you so much Kat, that would be awfully nice of you...Smile Thanks for all the advice...I cant remember what the skin thing is called. She said that it wasnt serious, it just makes me itchy, and when I itch, I get red dots, that itch even more...So I dunno...When I remember, I will let you know Smile
