Okay so i had my beautiful baby boy 2.5 weeks ago. I had to get 5 stitches, and some of them arent healed and some are. How long does it typically take for the stitches to heal. Also, my delivery caused hemroids as many do, i'm just curious as to how long it will take for it to go away aswell.
thanks for your help and responce in advance!!

stitches... as in C-section or stitches after an episiotomy? Each person is different but keep the site VERY CLEAN and dry. Follow your doctors suggestions.

I am sure you can set up a post-partum visit with your gyn to address any problems that show up.

Congratulations on your baby, I just had one too.. a little girl. I had a C-section.

As for the hemorrhoids, take a stool softener, drink lots of fluids and DO NOT PUSH.. give your body time to recover from that too.. it is also very common.

I think your doctor should have told you that the stitches will be healed well by 6 to 8 weeks. No need in rushing. The hemmy's will heal a bit at a time. No straining. When you see the doctor at 6 weeks, please have them take a check.
