Is it really that important for pregnant women in their second and third trimester of pregnancy to get the flu shot?

Megan got one a few years ago and it made her so sick, we swore she'd never get one again. Now it's all over the news about getting one and especially for the elderly, the very young and women who are pregnant.

What should she do?

Well I would do nothing until she talks to her ob/gyn doctor. I would just go with whatever he/she says on this.

I was going to say that also... her OB/GYN should have a direct say in whether she is a good candidate for it and whether it is safe. Smile
