i bought a common iguna(iguana iguana), can i put it in the same cage with my chinese water dragon? the common iguana is young speciman, it is very little, but my chinesewater dragon is large, is it ok? and does young iguana have to eat insect?

No, it not advisable to house these two together. Here are a few reasons why you should not attempt to house these two together.

Iguana’s grow to be double the size of water dragon’s, and can become quite aggressive as they mature particularly during breeding season. They have large, powerful jaws equipped with serrated teeth. If the iguana was in an aggressive mood it could seriously injure a water dragon by biting it.

Iguana’s like to pile during basking and an iguana that is much larger and or heavier has the potential of smothering the water dragon. Just climbing on the water dragon could cause injury from their very sharp claws.

They both have very different dietary needs. Water dragons are insectivores and or carnivores and is not likely to eat any vegetation.

Iguana's are herbivores and should only be eating vegetation. An iguana can develop kidney disease from the tiniest amount of animal protein and there is the possibility of progressing to total kidney failure and death.
