I have a 5 1/2 year old chinese water dragon who got a bacterial infection in his mouth. We took him to the vet and he is on antibiotics and much better. But the vet said he is underweight and needs to weigh 5 pounds. Draco has never weighed that much and looks okay according to all the pictures that we see of water dragons. The vet says we need to force feed him blended veggies through a syringe since Draco refuses to eat veggies. What is the normal weight for an adult chinese water dragon and is it okay to force feed him veggies this way (like kale, collard greens, etc.) The only thing he has ever wanted to eat are crickets, seedless red grapes and bananas. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.
