My chameleon is a bit unwell. He is about 2 and a half. He has been off his food for a bit and his colours indicate stress. He has been shedding his skin for ages. Refuses to eat locusts. Any thoughts?

Have you tried to feed him something different? Perhaps he's bored with the locusts and not necessarily sick. Try some different types of insects and see if they interest him. Is he getting enough light? Even when winter shortens the time that it is light, you still need to keep a light on for him. Is the area he is housed in warm/cool enough? Have there been any changes to his home?

There appears to be a very varied diet they can eat. Here is a website that appears to have good information.
