I've looked all over the place, and the only thing I could come up with was: Ludisia Dawsonia. Do you think that it could be it?

I wonder if there are ever any small blooms on this plant. Like Tree I have looked all over for this plant. I've determined the leaves are lanceolate shaped and the veins are longitudinal. It is not a variegated leaf nor a striated leaf but rather shows veins void of chlorophyll. The closest I have come to it is something belonging to the Fittonia group...

It's close but not identical. Fittonia is found in Malaysia so it's possible the plant you are asking about is related to it.

Ludisia is commonly know as the Jewel Orchid. There are many different types.

Here's an "Alba". It's similar to yours but has more white (alba) in it.
