I want to draw my girlfriend her favorite flower, but she doesn't have the name, and only has one picture of it.
Here

If any of you can name the flower and the meaning I'd really appreciate it Smile

Thanks in advance!

It's a lily, but I don't know which specific kind. Except for the color, it looks exactly like the ones in my yard, even to the dead one in the background.

One internet florist says a mauve lily means 'Do you still love me?' (!) and a pink one means 'Youth and acceptance' . (There's confusion over white ones, so thankfully it's not one. The white trumpeted, long flowered 'longiflorum' is associated with mourning and death in the US but the other white ones are for 'purity and virginity'. Here in Britain white longiflorum is a classy flower for the house: happily my mother at ninety did not think I was giving her a hint about mortality when I filled her room with them once Big Grin)
