Hi I am having some problems with this forum. For some reason it will not allow me to edit my own posts. It says that I'm not authorized or that I "don't have permission/rights" or something. I've only posted in here like four times and the other times I was allowed..??

P.S., not sure where else I am supposed to ask or post this question to get it resolved.

Thanks

There's a time limit during which a post can be edited -- think it's half an hour. Could that have been the problem?

The Information Desk, in the Member Information Center, is the place to post questions like these. However, you're here, and I'll leave this post here for a couple of days, then move it to the proper forum.

Babs is correct; there is a time limit for editing your own posts. I don't recall if it is 15 minutes or 30 minutes. The time limit is necessary because some members were deleting or editing their old posts, which was causing responses to appear to be responding to something that wasn't said. AnswerPool had time limits from the beginning, but one of the recent "upgrades" (Roll Eyes) allowed editing at any time. I recognize that it can be inconvenient at times, but, unfortunately, it is necessary.
