I know several people who save their children's baby teeth after they fall out. I think this is so gross. Have you heard of this before? Why do people save them? Would you save your child's baby teeth? If so- why would you?

My mother saved some of mine but that was only because I wrote the Tooth Fairy and asked her to leave behind my teeth.
My friend Carol saved her children's baby teeth that were pulled by the dentist because they had abnormally long roots. And she, like myself, enjoys (what some would consider gross) items for the medical aspect.
Some people like to save mementos - albeit gross ones to some. Personally I have saved all sort of "DNA samples" Never know when they might come in handy

My dad kept all our teeth. He kept them in a jar according to my brother, but I don't remember ever seeing it. Not really sure why now that I think about it. I always thought he was just collecting our teeth for memento reasons.

I know a lott of people here in Belgium that keep 'em all. You get a small wooden "tooth-shaped" container and put it in every time you come from the dentist or in my case, your dad pulled one out because it was so loose Anyway, we do it because you keep it as a memory of your childhood. You don't have to look at them. You just know they're in that container. I find keeping hair much more grosse .
