I know...what is a thread about funerals doing in childhood issues.

I have no idea where else to put it.

A friend recently asked me if I knew of any foundations that would help pay for a child's funeral.

His neice was recently killed and his sister is having a difficult enough time dealing with the grief, but now she can't afford to pay for Life Flight or funeral expenses.

Any help would be appreciated.

Shel, this might not apply everywhere, but I thought the city (city where a person lived) would give anyone a pauper's burial, if they had no other means of getting buried. This is a sad thing to accept though because it's just a few words said at the graveyard.

I am so sorry about your friend's niece.

I would suggest contacting a local United Way office. They have contact with several agencies. I would think they might know a good one that could help out in this type of situation.
