Beer Butt Chicken

I know, sounds gross, but it's really good

Take a whole chicken, clean out the inside.
Take a can of beer, the chicken and go to the BBQ grill.
Place the chicken, standing up with the beer (opened) inside the chicken on top of the grill. Cover with the grill cover, or foil and cook for about two hours, slowly.

The juiciest chicken I have ever had!

it sounds like the can of beer just sits inside the chicken. wouldn´t it be better to pour the beer into the chicken?

If I am not mistaken, the beer is to evaporate and infuse into the chicken.
