Hey, I remember you!

For food make chocolate pie (or something chocolate) and call it a mudpie.

how does Swamp Water Punch sound?

For activities, how about hide and go seek?

....how's that for a start? How much food do you need?

There is a dessert called "dirt" that is typically served in a (clean) flower pot. Perhaps you can get one or two of those plastic army helmets and wash them well and serve it in those...

Here is the recipe:

3 dozen chocolate cookies, cream-filled, broken up
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) vanilla instant pudding
1 carton (8 ounces) whipped topping
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature

Process cookies in batches in food processor until cookies are in crumbs, or place cookies in plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush.
Prepare pudding according to package; fold in whipped topping.
Combine butter, sugar, and cream cheese in another mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until smooth. Fold into the pudding mixture.

Set aside 1 1/2 cups crumbs and spoon about 1/3 of the remaining crumbs into the pot. Spread about 1/3 of the pudding mixture over the crumb layer. Repeat layers twice, then top with the reserved crumbs, covering the pudding completely. Cover and chill for 4 hours.

You could put some plastic army men on the top and maybe a little American Flag.

Jusork's Swamp Water Punch sounds interesting. If you can find them and they're not too expensive, perhaps you can get the kids their own canteens to put the punch into.

One idea for an activity would be to put together a package of "supplies" (various things these "special forces" would need) and hide it somewhere and they have to find it without being caught by one another?
