It is now between 10:00 and 11:00. Six minutes from now, the minute hand of a watch will be exactly opposite the place where the hour hand was three minutes ago. What is the exact time now?

Draw a clock face with the numbers. Then draw a line from 10 through the center, and do the same for 11. You'll then see the approximate area in which the minute hand must be for the answer. The following information will help:
Clock face = 360° = 12 hours = 60 minutes Minute hands moves 6° each minute (1/60th of the clock face, or 1 minute) Hour hand moves 30° each hour (1/12th of the clock face, or 5 minutes) |
