Pleas check if this is correct. Sorry I had forgot to mention that this is quadratic equation.

2(y^2-66)=-13
2y^2-132=-13
2y^2+13-132=0
(2y-11)(y+24)=0
X=11/2, -24

No. You should divide both sides of the equation by 2 first. Then add 66 to both sides. See what you get and solve for y.
