On campus, they are building a new administration building. Today when i walked by I noticed that all the mud near the building looked greenish. Like an evergreen green. I was wondering, are there some sort of chemicals that are used in construction that would turn the mud green? The mud not right next to the construction site, like on the side walk where I stood, was the regular color.

if it is a damp area without a lot of sun it could be a sort of moss or mildew sort of thing.

it is a damp area cuz there is snow everywhere. But the only place with green, is the mud next to the construction site, and where the trucks drive out. no place else. the sidewalk has the same sun as the green mud
