samantha Diamond Enthusiast	Posted I didn't know where to post this at so here I am..hope ya don't mind Does anyone know what would cause a hot tub to heat up only when the jets are on? When the jets are off the temp keeps dropping back down..Thanks!

It seems like that would be a safety so that the heating elements wouldn't overheat and scald due to a localized hot spot in the tub... Know what I mean? If the tub isn't circulating the water and the heating elements keep heating the same water you could get scalded...

Most tubs I have seen have two speed motors. Slow just circulates and high for the jets. Depending on age, there just ma be a problem with the wiring. Really, I will be passing through BLONDEVILLE, USA.
