I know it stands for Underwriters Laboratories
but I don't know what that is. I see UL on lights and even on cement board (durock). What exactly is UL?

Clarebear, I checked out that URL that Donald posted. You were right about working for it until I remembered an easy way to find things.

Hit and hold [ Ctrl ] then the letter O, a window comes up. Type in, just the name and .com and OK.
No www or / or http or anything else.
Just ----.com

Clairnbell:

I thought the answer I gave you was straight forward.

If you mean that I did not insert an HTML, I am sorry about that. I have not been able to get the HTML's to work with AnswerPool, like I did with AnswerPoint. So, I have decided NOT to use them.

OH, BTW, I am not 'Donald Duck'

Kesman:

I tried your suggestion & wound up with

'This page cannot be displayed'

Other Observations:

Also I noticed that since KK has modified his forums that you cannot click on our names & bring up each of our profiles. What goes KK.

I was just kidding with the Donald Duck. wink It was a response to your clairbell. (I am not clairbell, I believe that was a cow.. hmmm..) I do want to thank you for the link. When I said you made me work for it I meant you just didn't type the answer in for me. (I'm getting a little lazy with these quick answers here) I do thank you!

Clarebear:

Sorry about the mispelling. I just did not pay close enough attention to your name.

Kesman:

K.K must have been working on the Profile Sheet when I tried to bring up the profile. It is working as usual now. Thanks

I temped at Underwriters Laboratories for about 1 week about 40 years ago ... interesting place and they really perform one of the most valuable services consumers can hope for. Hope they never go out of business .... Smile
