Everyone wants to save money. Most people will even agree that protecting the environment and finding alternative methods of power is essential to the future of our world, let alone the United States. That’s why Powerless Custom Homes, Inc. has taken up the challenge to become a leader in providing a renewable source of energy for our clients at an affordable price.
We encourage our home-buying public to install solar panels as part of their initial design. It ultimately lessens the costs from having to install them later. Although no one knows exactly how long a solar panel lasts, homebuilders know that even some of the first models are performing today as efficiently as they did originally.
You may have heard of solar panels, but are unsure as to what they are exactly. Also called a photovoltaic (PV) system, they work by converting sunlight, or solar power, into electric energy. Each panel is comprised of solar cells, typically a crystalline silicon, that absorbs light. The panels are layered and have a clear protective coating on top, with a polymer backing on the bottom. The top layer is electrically negative and the bottom is electrically positive.
At I. M. Powerless Custom Homes, Inc. , we believe in giving you as much information upfront as possible. We encourage you to do your homework, and are eager to give you the tools to initiate that research. For instance: you need to know how much are your energy bills a month now? How many kilowatt-hours are you using? How much savings do you wish to have (be realistic)?
How much sunlight does your house get a day? If it’s less than six hours a day this isn’t for you as it’s not the most efficient. Is the house being constructed to get the most possible? If you live in the South, this would be the north-facing side, and if you live in northern climates, that would be the side facing south.
The price of solar panels has dropped anywhere from 3-7% a year for about the past 10 years. . Obviously, as the need greatens, competition will lower those costs even more. When combined with traditional energy methods, those cost of electricity declines even further without having to sacrifice usage.
More than 15 states today offer financial rebates or subsidize renewable energy programs. I. M. Powerless Custom Homes, Inc. will ensure that you have all the answers you need to get the most from your possible saving by having us install these panels.

Confused Never thought of living in Australia as living 'in the South' and living in the Bahamas or Florida as living in 'northern climates'. Smile

Looks like it's "Lights Out" for that one!

Fred, I noticed that, too. I thought for a minute that the Earth's axis had changed or tilted more overnight and I missed it.

Just as an aside, the best laid plans of mice and men....

Everest , a company famous for double glazing, once double glazed England's highest pub, as an advertisement for the product. They've now diversified into solar panels. So they went back to this pub and installed their system, covering the roof with panels, all for their next TV ad.They paid the landlord £90,000 for that. All fine, they shot the ad. As soon as it appeared, the local council issued an enforcement notice demanding the panels be removed Big Grin Commercial buildings always require planning consent for such installations and alterations, as do many private houses. The company has now sought retrospective consent

Ah well, advertising men are creative artists, above the realities of this sordid world Roll Eyes

I do hope that, unlike our newly-departed member above, they were wise enough to have the panels actually facing the sun. (Or does the sun in the southern part of England shine on the northern exposure of houses?)

Best sunny aspect for us is slightly to the South-West
But as its Rain,Rain, Rain at the moment .We are Not concerned about Poxy solar heating of any form or description.Priority is keeping water out of the House and maintaining Adequate drainage .

PS With the credit crunch they are going to be a very poor value Purchase Frown

Thanks for reminding us, Bedstor. It's raining so hard at the moment that the satellite TV here went down briefly because there was so much water landed on the dish it interrupted the signal Roll Eyes Smile

Ditto here yesterday the Picture kept breaking up without warning Eek
Can run OK down to just under 20% signal strength Best signal locally under normal conditions is only 55% tops(Mind you we are sheltered from the Transmitter by a hill) Could get a good signal like the remoter parts of Southern Ireland who mount their Terrestial aerials on the Top of a 30ft plus Pole to recieve UK broadcasts from Wales (allowing for the Curvature of the Earth) Ditto Ulster TV to the North
Daft looking lash-up but it works Smile
