About as much use as a chocolate teapot or an ashtray on a motorbike.
When the TV presenters say " Don't try this at home" we always try it here but only with the curtains closed. Couldn't do it at all if those were glass curtains. The neighbours would see.
Knowing that this post won't remain as is for long, I'll just say that to be able to enjoy the full view while being protected from the weather is a 'good thing'.
I don't have a glazed-in deck so in the cold weather when I want to enjoy the full view, I console myself that even sitting outdoors on the deck's garden seat, on a cushion, in warm clothing, is better than breathing stuffy indoor air.
But best of all is go for a walk or do some outdoor chores

I agree, and I always sit outside to have a cigarette and a glass of wine, even in the middle of a snowstorm. Does that count, too?
And Fred, what the heck are you doing in there, that you'd need to close the curtains for?

Well,it's prompted by TV,but comes with a warning [see above], and the only 'neighbours' who could see are horses. [They put the neigh in neighbours: Boom! Boom!]
Really? Why, have you guessed what 'it' is yet? [(c) Rolf Harris]. Evidently so Can't have the horses seeing it: they'd definitely not approve. They are all neighsayers , as it is.
