mstullich	Posted My Daughters room is colder than the rest. Her room is next to the 21x7' uninsulated porch. (Aluminum soffit with venting holes).In the attic there is no divider or insulation between the porch and the insulated attic.Should there be??

Walks On Water Platinum Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post First, yes, I would have a wall between the porch and the house attic. Next, where is the attic insulation? If on the ceiling of the attic, you are loosing a lot of heat to the attic. Insulation should be on the floor of the attic if possible. This will hold the heat in the room as you loose 75% or more heat through the room’s ceiling.
