1. Four professional ring heavyweight champions of the world were billed as “from St. Louis, Missouri” for significant parts of their career. All fought in St. Louis, and all were well-known by more than just fans of their sports. Name them. (Hints: All were born before 1957, 2 before 1940. 2 were Olympic champions, and one won the heavyweight title at least 6 times, the first at age 19. Each was universally recognized as world champions by the leading ruling body of his sport.). No bogus, partial titles involved; all the titles were regarded as legitimate.) (5 points for 3 names, and 5 for all four)

2. Within 5 years, when did a goalie first wear a mask in the NHL?

3. Who holds the MLB record for oldest regular manager? (He also managed more years than any other man.)

4. Exactly how wide is an official MLB Home Plate? (The edge parallel to the pitching rubber’s long side.) ( There is no partial inch involved.)

5. Who was Vinko Bogotaj ?

6. Within 1’, what is the inside diameter of an NBA rim?

7. How many Monopoly properties can be built on? (Houses, hotels)

8. According to ESPN.com, who was the first NBA player to break the glass backboard and, within 5 years, when was it done? 5 points for the name, 5 points for the year.

10 The goal is 8 yards wide by 8 feet high.Note the non-metric dimensions Smile Although the game is worldwide and its governing body F.I.F.A. is titled in French [Federation Internationale de Football Association] and based in Switzerland, the laws still demand those original measurements, now translated into metric [officially as 7.32m by 2.44m].(A fact of historic interest only. There can't be any country which plays soccer and still uses yards, feet and inches, can there ? Confused)

The last three answers are correct.

Fred, I'm sorry I missed acknowledging your goal answer. I was a bit distracted at that time.
