You have some nice talent. Smile

Keep practicing and you will be truly remarkable.

You have a good start on shading for faces. My suggestion is to look at yourself in a mirror with a strong light source pointing at an angle at the front of your face. Then practice drawing yourself, paying special attention on how the light and shadows makes your face look round and angled.

I have drawn for 35 years and have a degree in art and that is how I started. Smile

Hey, Sher, why don't you put some of your drawings up on Ripway so we can have a look at them?

BTW, I have been nursing as an RN and being a Mom and wife for over 15-17 years, so I am quite rusty with some of my skills. Smile

The one called pastel and ink I'm nuts about! What size is it?

I'd say 11x17 I think. A typical large size sketch pad size. Smile

Glad you like it. I had a lot of fun doing it.

You wouldn't consider parting with it, would you?
E-mail me if you would. But I won't be hurt if you don't. It's lovely.
