Wow, those pictures are amazing JT. I began playing around with my daughter's Etch a Sketch over 40 years ago and could never come even slightly close to anything like those.

It says: Steve does not actually draw using the Etch A Sketch® mechanics. They are drawn on silver paper and adhered to the front of the screen to give the illusion that they were created on the Etch A Sketch®.
I read somewhere that after the artists had finished drawing the pictures, that they would carfully remove the back of the etch-a-sketch, removing all the remaining sand stuff thats in them.. I for one, think that doing that was the smartest thing!! I would hate to have spent all that time drawing something on an etch-a-sketch, and have some one come by and be like, "OH,WOW!!I want to try!!" *shake-shake-shake* UGH!! That would infuriate me!!
I could draw my name in those things!!
I remember when me and my brother each had one, we would race and see who could finish "etching" the whole thing, so that it would be nothing but a black screen!
