I have a new puppy that is 6-8 weeks old, and unfortunatly she is miserable with fleas. I've tried giving her a bath, but it didn't help. All the dips I've seen instruct that they are not to be used on a puppy until they are 12 weeks old. Is there any treatment I can use to ease the problem? They're making her very uncomfortable.

Here are some links to a veterinary web site that has some very helpful information on fleas and how to treat the problem. I encourage you to read them.

many of the topical treatments that are available do not recommend that you give to small puppies. These treatments can cause serious illness and even death in a puppy.

I would suggest that you contact your vet and see what they recommend. Attempting to treat a puppy this age on your own could have grave consequences.

There are a number of all-natural/homeopathic solutions available as well, but they may not be as effective as what a vet may recommend.
