Since I am not able to copy / paste here it seems, I want to invite you all to my Dog's homepage to read the *How could you?* story. It has made a difference in my life and I am hoping to pass this on to as many people as I can.

Your doggies are so cute. We adopted from the ASPCA too. Parker was abandoned in a Park (hence, his name) at 7 months.

Thanks for sharing that story, only I couldn't finish reading it once I knew where it was headed. After all, I am at work right now and I couldn't keep the tears back.

I don't understand some people. Cruelty is so beyond me. Of course, to me, Parker is human (only cuter). I couldn't imagine anyone callus enough to be able to leave him tied to a tree and then hearing other stories of animal cruelty, well, I can't even think about it right now. Anyway, I just don't get it. It is a sad state of things when you live in a society that puts such little value on life. It breaks my heart.

That story did not bring at tear to my eye...I am still sobbing even as I type. It has been 25 years since my family made the heartbreaking decision to let our Roy be released from the constant painof his arthritis and hip displacia...we tried everything first, medication worked for a while, accupuncture was a Godsend for almost 6 months...then it was selfish of us to make him keep going, so we made the appointment that would put a stop to his pain. It was the right thing but still ripped our hearts out, and we prayed he would understand....I can't imagine how anyone could condemn their loyal, loving and trusting friend to die among strangers for no reason except that it is an expedient career move...I am crying still, in horror over that story and in fresh mourning for Roy, the best big brother any girl ever had.

Hello and welcome Alenoneya. I'm so pleased to see that you have joined us.

Have you started fostering yet?

No not yet. I have had some problems with my furkids. My little Marley has a swollen elbow and it is filled with fluids. I took her to the vet and they took out the fluids and checked them for infection. Thank god no infection. My vet said it would go away on its own. That is is common in large breed puppy's. And since it does not seem to bother her at all he would not recomend surgery at this point.
The same week my 17 month old Lab came down with a case of dermatitis. She is now on antibiotics and gets special bath's twice a week. On top of that she was spayed last friday and is not feeling so hot . So the last 3 weeks have been full of surprises.

I would like to post a link on the Labbie site to this site and wanted to ask you if you had a Logo (pic) available for the link.
Let me know

What beautiful children you have!!! They must bring you so much pleasure. I'm a strong believer in getting animals from shelters and giving them homes. I do hope they are both feeling better soon.
