My dog is a 3 years old shar pei and is about 7 weeks pregnant. She has been having trouble with back leg pain and swelling. I was told I could give her aspirin so I have half in the morning and half at night. Now I was thinking it might not be good for the puppies.. Just wondering if anyone could clear this up for me? So sorry if i offended anyone with my caps. i'm very new at this. bare with me please. my shar pei weighs approx. 56 pounds my big question is will it hurt my dog or puppies?
Edited to remove all capitals.

You did not say how heavy your dog is .I found this webpage which says how much to give the dog http://placervillevet.com/aspirin.htm Unknown if you can allow a higher dosage with the dog being heavier than usual.(somebody else may know?)
Oh and typing in CAPITALS is Interpreted as Shouting on forums. Can you give your Caps Lock key a press ( Caps light will go out on the keyboard) Numberlock (Numlock) light should be the only one lit
And Thanks DG for the edit

There is no safe aspirin dosage for dogs during pregnancy or lactation. Aspirin puts unborn and young puppies at risk for many problems. Do not give aspirin to pregnant or nursing dogs.
