I just found to sores on my dog's nose. They are open, one's pink and one is black. I take it maybe one is further along than the other? What can I do?

Sounds like he got hurt somehow. Maybe in a fight or on a fence. It's hard to keep medicine on dogs, especially on their nose. The black one sounds like a scab and should be okay. The pink one sounds like maybe a fresh wound. I wouldn't put anything on it unless it doesn't scab over. If it doesn't, call the vet and ask them what you could put on it. Maybe some neosporin would help hurry it along.
