Students under age 7 have none, but over age 7 (in some states), a student or child may not violate the civil rights of another (racial or sexual harassment, for example) and may be criminally charged in juvenile court, or even in adult court (in some states) at age 16 or 17.

Upon searching further, I did find some information concerning the educational goals of teaching civil responsibilities and rights to K-12 students. You may find that site below:
http://erc.hrea.org/Library/educational_goals.html I have yet been able to find any information pertaining to what legal responsibilities these children may have independent of their parents while under the age of 18. |
