I am not sure if you wanting information about what mutual funds are, but I did find one site that seemed to provide possible answers. It is a business site, so there are pop-ups, but it is all business based.

Tom, if you were looking for information on Mutual Funds as a whole, then you probably already got what you needed from Sherasi.

Should you be interested in learning about the research aspects of Mutual Funds (or stocks, etc.)
Check out www.wsrn.com This is Wall Street Research Net. Once on the main page, scroll down a bit - on the left hand side you will see an option for "Mutual Funds"

Once you have selected "Mutual Funds" - you can then (at the top of the screen) select specific funds and look at lots of information about those funds (including quotes, estimates, research info, competitors, dividends, splits).

Should neither what Sherasi nor I posted be of help to you in this specific instance, please post another question and we'll be happy to help you further.
