Posted Hide Post I adore dessert! I have been known to spend months creating something new (yes, the failures have gone straight into the trash); I now have some pretty good personal dessert recipes. My "can't do without" is The Cake Bible by Rose Levy Birnbaum. She explained the chemistry of baking so well, I was able to, finally, adjust all my failing sea-level recipes to high altitude (yes, Denver really IS a mile above sea level - 5,280 feet)
