What kind of garden ornaments do you have in your garden ?

A statue of St. Francis of Assisi and a figurine of a cherub. Also a heart shaped stone that reads "Welcome to our Garden"

My wife likes and collects light houses. Last year, I bought her a 4.5' light house for the front yard. Even has a light that shows us the way home.

We don't have anything at the moment, but we're on the verge of having two large cedar trees between us and our neighbor cut down.

We're going to have him cut them so about 3' of the trunk is still there (I don't want to take them out altogether since I have gardens around both trees), and then I'm going to go find the biggest birdbaths I can to attach to the trunks.

I plan to expand the gardens so the make a circle around each tree trunk/birdbath, and by next spring it'll be beautiful - not mention we'll finally be able to grow grass in those areas.

Although I don't mind the trees themselves, nothing (except my flower gardens) will grow under them.

I'm also looking forward to the extra sun...we have alot of shade trees in our yard, and getting rid of these two cedars will allow more of the morning sun to come in.

I have a couple of nice stepping stones, placed in stategic locations, and one very nice FOO cat! It's a large concrete cat/dragon that greets people at the back yard gate.

I'm not big on garden ornaments. Less is more!

Not really - I haven't found the pink flamingos - yet!

I have:

A birdbath with a whimsical green plaster frog on top

A "Welcome" stone/planter with a fairy on each side of it

Two small gazing crystals on stakes

A stone cat

And...

A head!

I have a 6 foot tall miniature of the Statue of Liberty. My neighbors hate it but it went in before the neighborhood association was formed so they can't do anything. I also have a miniature bullfighter that I painted, he is so sexy in his little tights!!

Oh yeah - And in my back yard I have a season-sensitive solar-powered stationary chronograph!

I don't have a yard right now but if I did, I would use large boulders as ordiments. Also, old antique farm equipment can look nice in the middle of a nicely landscaped yard, like an old rusty plow or an old wagon wheel.

A little clay turtle is the only ornament in my top-floor container garden. It was a wedding gift and we love him!

I have 3 metal signs in my flower garden.
