Sandwiches from holiday leftovers.

Wheat, Oatmeal or other "non-white" bread - lightly toasted w/sliced avocado, grated carrots, tomato, lettuce (any other veggies that I happen to have), grated cheddar (put in toaster oven to melt the cheese) and then topped with mayo mixed with dill.....yum!!!!!!!!!

When I worked in downtown L.A. (in the sixties) there was a deli around the corner who would deliver to me a fresh dark meat turkey sandwich with Thousand Island dressing on a Kaiser roll and a snappy dill pickle. I at this for lunch every day of the year I worked there.

Catty (I hope Thanksgiving hurries!)

Ham, swiss cheese, mustard, and tomato on egg bread. The sandwich is then dipped in an egg wash and fried in butter, or dropped in a deep fryer.
