In case anybody is interested I figured out how to get rid of those anoying XP NTFS Permission messages! This site describes why the security tab is missing in workgroup based computers usauing XP and NTFS!

http://windows.about.com/library/tips/bltip542.htm

It's in your Folder Options! View and uncheck the Use Simple Files Sharing box! After that right click on C: or any folder U want and U'll see the Security tab! There U can set permissions like Allow, Deney, Full Control, ands so forth! And U can specify which users will be granted Full Control or whatever and which will not! Just say full control to everything and all users and share the drive! The when U copy anything over there will e no more anoying message saying You do not have proper Permissions...!
