Thanks for the link. This is another program that basically does the same thing. Scanner I'm not suggesting this is a better program, only pointing it out for comparison purposes. This tool uses a unique concentric pie chart to display the usage of your hard disk or other media. The chart shows all major files and folders from all directory levels at once. For those unfamiliar, LockerGnome is a really great site: http://www.lockergnome.com/ Chris Pirillo is the LockerGnome. He is the host of TechTV's Call For Help TV show. Thanks for the link, BazCaz. Do I really need this?
When I run de-frag, I have about 20% of my disk space occupied. And I have about 400 Mp3s (Music I just had to have ya know)
Of course, when we went shopping for this new computer, I told the guy at Gateway that I wanted my computer to do everything, including the dishes.
Well, it doesn't do dishes, but Dude (Wait that's Dell) told me that I had enough storage space and (I forget the real name) Active, or usable memory (Ya know, when a program or two are open it takes up his kind of memory) To do the things I wanted.
Slow downs are not an issue - for me. I clean my Temporary Internet Files once a week, and I also scan disk and run Quick Clean (Which goes through the computer and cleans things like the Recycle Bin - If I forgot to empty it)
So do I need this program, or is it just another thing on my system which would just take up space?
