Ok, here we go again, lol. I have been trying to install a new dialup program on the win98se side of my hard drive, and after getting the whole thing setup thru an internet download, and rebooting, my pc will not boot into 98se! It just shows a blue screen, with the old "fatal exception error". Anyone have any ideas as to what would cause this? It keeps wanting to boot into safe mode. I have booted into safe mode, then ran scan disk, then ran system file checker, and everything seems to be fine. I even uninstalled the new software for the new dialup program, and it still will not boot into 98se. I can however, boot into XP Pro, which is what I'm using now. I cant just re-format that partition, unless as a last resort. Any help will be appreciated.

Goto Safe Mode then! Delete the program U just installed in the Control Panel's Add and Reomve Programs! Then Reboot and use Dail-UP Networking to get on the internet instead of what U were trying! If it is not there your 98 CD will have it! And through the Add and Remove programs it can be installed! Windows Setup I think!

I've done all that, and while in safe mode, I deleted all references to the name of the dialup company too. I even deleted the new temp folder that it created when installing. It still wont boot into 98se. I can get into XP fine.
